    The babysitter accused of having abandoned a baby in an apartment fire, was so intoxicated that he had to wait 20 hours for it to be interrogated by the police, learned The Newspaper.

    “Jenna Milot looked a little shocked by all the events”, has admitted to his lawyer of long standing, Antonio Cabral, Friday, at the palais de justice of Montreal.

    Visibly nervous, the woman’s 49-year-old has appeared in prison, Rivière-des-Prairies. She barely said a word, limiting himself to a “hi Tony” to his lawyer.

    The ex-prostitute who has problems with the use of crack cocaine has been charged with child abandonment, failing to provide the necessities of life, as well as arson caused by its negligence.

    Milot had to look after a girl of one year in the night from Wednesday to Thursday, but having put a saucepan on the fire, she would have left the apartment that caught fire. According to a roommate, she had a lot consumed.

    The little girl has been rescued by police officers who quickly responded.

    Once stopped, Milot is, however, would be asleep until the evening, so the investigators had to wait before being able to query it. It is at this time that she would have realized the gravity of the situation.
