This is what the mayor of Quebec city has made it known Tuesday morning on the sidelines of a press meeting. “I found, yesterday (Monday), Justin very relevant. I found it brave. He spoke with his heart. He had no text. It is left to go. He said what he thought from the bottom of his heart,” said Mr. Labeaume.
On Monday evening, the prime minister of Canada has called on the population of canada and quebec, to “recognize his own weaknesses” and to confront her fears “irrational” on the other. “I have a good laugh over the case of nonos with the legs of dogs. Really, this is good,” added the mayor of Quebec city with reference to the pike sent by Mr. Trudeau to the group The Pack.
“The mourning can begin”
More generally, Régis Labeaume said that he very much appreciated the speeches of the various speakers who took the floor Monday night. “From now on, the grieving process can begin. We can begin to put it behind us, (even) if it is necessary to always remember”, he stated.
Mr. Labeaume has also explained that it was important for him to say a few words compassionate to the attention of the parents of Alexander Bissonnette, who was accused of the killing, in his speech on Monday. “I felt the need to tell them what we thought of them-and that we would not be in their skin”, has slipped in the mayor.
According to him, “what happened with Alexander Bissonnette, the latter responsible, it must be his parents. The echoes that I have of his parents, these people are quite extraordinary. Yesterday (Monday), it had to be terrible for what they were, he reported. These people, their life is over. Their life is broken.”
