Turkish defense company ASELSAN has developed a new modern system of active protection of tanks and other armored vehicles, the Agency Anadolu.

Engineers and designers are betting on the modernization of the heavy tanks Leopard 2 and M60, which are on arms of Turkish armed forces.

The system, called Bulat, involves the installation on the tank a number of devices that will enhance the level of protection. In particular, upon detection of approaching RC tank projectile system Bulat generates noise around combat vehicles, destroys or weakens its effect.

When developing the active protection system ASELSAN Bulat experts took into account the latest developments in this area, focusing on improving the capacity of the tank.
