Two weeks since the disappearance of the little Ariel: the research continues

    The police and volunteers do not drop the arms and to always put their efforts to find the little Ariel, in which there has been no news for two weeks now.

    Ariel Jeffrey-Kouakou, 10 years, has left the family home in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough, in Montréal, on the 12th of march last, and has not been seen since.

    The police Department of the City of Montreal always evaluates what means it will take to try to find the little boy. The helicopter and the squad water sports are some of the many avenues being considered and could be deployed this week.

    If there are fewer police visible on the ground, the SPVM investigators of the major crimes are still on the folder to explore all avenues of possible resolution.

    A command post is still in place to collect the information 24 hours on 24, and each of them is checked.

    At the end of the week, volunteers took part in a search operation in the presence of the parents of Ariel. Some of them have told, that they no longer worked for the past two weeks in order to give a helping hand to the family and to show their solidarity. In addition, on Saturday, some 200 people took part in a candle light vigil.

    Last week, police announced that they were boosting now the thesis of the accident to explain this disappearance.
