After Montreal last April and Quebec in the month of December, the Gatinois will be able to take advantage of the platform of food delivery Uber Eats, Wednesday, from 9 h.

Among the restaurants of the city of Gatineau already registered, among others, Ottavio, Coffee with Cognac, Portugalos and Green Papaya.

“We are very pleased of this partnership which will give us the opportunity to travel throughout our experience of thai food directly in the plate of those who do not have the ability to come into our restaurant,” said Vincent Gobuyan, owner of Green Papaya.

Wednesday will also mark the launch of the application in 12 other cities in Canada. “This is the biggest launch in a day in the country,” said Uber Canada in a press release.

“Launch Uber Eats in 13 new markets means that more and more Québécois will be able to have meals delivered that they desire, and at the speed Uber,” said Simon Brown, head of Uber Eats in Quebec.

“Whether it is sushi, poutine of the night, or a salad of kale, everything will be available in just a few clicks; freshly and quickly delivered,” he added.

Currently, Uber Eats is present in more than 200 cities around the world.
