UN security Council resolution will not affect the operation in Afrin : In the World : Vladim

The UN security Council resolution on thirty-day cease-fire in Syria unanimously adopted 24 Feb. However, the operation of Turkey in ‘ afrīn is not affected. The Prime Minister of Turkey Bekir bozdag said that the requirement to cease fire for all warring parties to ensure delivery of humanitarian aid, however, it does not apply to terrorists.

 

He stressed that even the question that was terminated or even suspended operation “Olive branch”, as it relates to terrorism. Ankara to conduct military operations in Afrin since January 20. Turkey is struggling with the organization of Syrian Kurds “Democratic Union” and its militant offshoot “of the people’s defence Forces”.

The resolution of the security Council failed to end the clashes in the suburbs of Eastern ghouta. They were the reason why a document was adopted. Fighting intensified after the Ministry of defence responsible for the creation of obstacles to delivery of humanitarian aid blamed the rebels holding the territory.
