This infographic was compiled by one of the participants in the Planetary society olan Fron, reports Rus.Media. It lists all active interplanetary missions, and major planned developments in this area as of 1 December.

Next year in space must be sent a number of new interplanetary stations. Key among them:

• Insight — NASA to study the geological structure of Mars.

• Parker Solar Probe — NASA probe that will approach the Sun at a record low distance.

• BepiColombo — a joint ESA and JAXA mission to study mercury.

• Solar Orbiter — ESA apparatus to study the Sun.

• “Chandrayaan-2” — Indian mission to study the moon. Will consist of the orbital and descent modules and lunar Rover demonstrator.

• “Chang’e-4” — Chinese mission, which is to be held first in the history of the landing apparatus on the back side of the moon.

You can also highlight the following upcoming events:

• In July the office of the “Hayabusa-2” will reach the asteroid Ryugu.

• In August, the apparatus of the OSIRIS-REx will arrive at the asteroid Bennu.

• In the night from 31 December to 1 January 2018, 2019, to camera New Horizons will make a historic flyby of the Kuiper belt object 2014 MU69.

• Most likely next year will be completed the Dawn mission, which is currently working on the orbit of Ceres.

• Depending on the technical condition of the machine will decide on a possible extension of the mission “Juno”.
