Why women need to cover their heads in Church?
Men should be in Church without headgear, women – on the contrary, must be with the covered head. Why? Where did this customs??

The customs instilled even the Apostle Paul, who called the scarf a symbol of submission of women. Originally meant women’s submission to her husband, who had to obey and follow. After this a handkerchief was considered a symbol of purity, fidelity. It was worn by married women: a girl in a headscarf – so, married, is not free.

The handkerchief in the Church life also means the humility with which she enters the temple to the Lord God. She kneels in front of Him, shows his faith. There is a more practical explanation of this custom. Women’s hair, especially long, though beautiful, but attract a lot of attention. And narcissism, pride need to leave outside of the temple. For the same reason in the Church are not welcome bright makeup or revealing clothes.
