Irma: more than 5.6 million people called to evacuate the Florida

    Miami, United States | The american authorities have called 5.6 million people evacuated Florida as hurricane Irma, back in category 5, announced the direction of emergency operations.

    After at least 19 people dead during his time on the Caribbean, Irma has hit Cuba later on Friday.

    The monster Irma is expected to arrive on the “Sunshine State” american late Saturday night and Sunday morning, via the archipelago of the Keys, before coming to hit Miami with winds expected up to 240 km/h, according to the us national Center of hurricanes (NHC).

    The evacuation orders affect 5.6 million inhabitants, depending on the direction of emergency operations.

    Evacuation orders mandatory had been given previously for at least a million people in Florida and hundreds of thousands of motorists were stuck on Friday on the two highways that run parallel to the coasts of the peninsula.

    “It is a catastrophic storm, such as this State has never experienced before”, had stressed on Friday the governor of Florida, Rick Scott, asking the population to leave.
