His mare came to an end nine months later near Cancun, Mexico, where he hiding out under a false identity.
Condemned to repetition
Former member of the Death Riders in Laval, Robert has accumulated the convictions in the 90s for arson, cocaine trafficking and illegal possession of loaded firearms.
On 18 January 1999, the deceased lawyer Pierre Panaccio was able to avoid a long sentence of prison by convincing the judge Paul Chevalier, the young Robert was “removed” from the middle of the bikers and that he ” no longer posed a danger to society “.
The defence had, inter alia, pleaded that Robert had left school during his 5th year of high school, he had had a serious car accident and that he had started to mingle with the bikers attending the bars.
On December 5, 2002, Martin Robert received his “colors” to a member in good standing of the Hells.
Robert had also been accused with his brother Normand “Casper” Ouimet in the transaction due Diligence focusing on the infiltration of the Hells in the construction industry. He was suspected to have opened offshore accounts in Mauritius and to have laundered dirty money for the benefit of a criminal organization, but he was pulled free with a stay of proceedings in 2013.
