VANCOUVER | restaurant in Vancouver, British Columbia, has seized 242 bottles of whisky last week, in what the owner called ‘a descent worthy of [the time of] the prohibition”.
The Fets Whisky Kitchen said on Facebook last Thursday that three employees of the government, accompanied by police, entered for $ 40,000 alcohol. Three other establishments that sell also the whisky from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society have also been affected by the seizure the same day, said the restaurant.
The latter boasts on Facebook to serve the largest selection of whiskies in Canada, and one of the most extensive in the world.
