The day of December 6, 1989 will forever be etched in the memory of Quebecers after a killer misogynist killed fourteen women at the école Polytechnique. Wednesday morning, 8: 30 a.m., a wreath of white roses will be filed in the place du 6-décembre-1989 to commemorate the dark events that occurred 28 years ago.

The commemoration will take place in the company of the wife of the prime minister of Canada, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, the vice-premier of Québec Dominique Anglade, and the mayor of Montreal’s Valerie Plante.
