Close to thirty will be selected to receive the spring two days of training at the University of Laval, which will be used to get acquainted with computer programming and robotics as learning tool.

    Everywhere in the province ?

This formula, first tested on a small scale, could eventually be extended to the whole of the province, according to our information.

The goal is to learn more about the most effective practices in order to “avoid the errors that occurred elsewhere” as in British Columbia, where the implementation was considered too fast by some, ” explains one.

This pilot project is part of the work surrounding the action Plan for digital education, on which board is currently the ministry of Education.

    Not a single model

“I’m looking for the best way, for the benefit of students, in the short term, there is programming and coding in their training. There are several options on the table, but we are working to ensure that there is no single model, ” he said.

Computer programming is taught in more than a dozen european countries.

In Canada, British Columbia and Nova Scotia will also teach to all their students.
