A year after unveiling its concept of the autonomous car Sedric, Volkswagen takes advantage of the opening of the auto Show in Geneva to present its vision to the transportation of school children of the future.
Built from the Sedric, this funny concept incorporates the traditional colors yellow and black of the big buses that have rocked our childhood.

The vehicle is fully automated and can be controlled using an app. It then goes by itself to the pupils and leads up to the destination set by the person at the controls of the application. No need of driver or anyone with a driving licence.
Fully electric, the bus Sedric has no steering wheel, no pedals and no dashboard. Story to amuse the children, a touch screen on which you can draw has been installed on the inside of one of the doors.

Only able to accommodate four passengers, the concept offers even a storage space under the seats, with backpacks. It is, however, far from the huge vehicles that transport our children in the morning and evening.
No need to tell you that this concept vehicle represents a vision of the future of mobility at Volkswagen, and not a model that are about to be marketed.
There are still a lot of work to do to get there, but Volkswagen seems to work hard to ensure that it is realized.
