In a photograph presented today, the manufacturer of Dearborn has displayed its much awaited SUV… under a blanket. It doesn’t leave a lot of room for interpretation, but we can guess a figure, very square, similar to that of the Jeep Wrangler. You can also spot a tire that exceeds the tailgate.
Considering the short wheelbase of the vehicle, it would not be surprising whether a model with two doors. The purists will be reassured!
Ford has not yet confirmed when the Bronco will be officially presented, but we already know that it will be marketed as a 2020 model.
Another SEEN as a bonus!
We already knew that Ford was working to resurrect the Bronco, but the american manufacturer has taken us by surprise today by announcing that a second SUV based on the driving off-road was also in preparation.
Bearing still no name, this SUV will be marketed within the next two years. As the Bronco, Ford promises it will offer a “real experience of driving off-road”.
Clearly, Jeep has competition!
For the moment, only one image where you can see the front of the vehicle has been released by the manufacturer.
No word on the powerplant, capacity and / or production schedule.
A Bronco hybrid?
Always during the same presentation. Ford has also announced to the media that she was going to focus on the commercialization of hybrid models in its range.
It was also confirmed that all the new SUV would be offered with a hybrid version or plug-in hybrid? Can we therefore expect to see the Bronco to be loved by a hybrid drive?
It is very plausible.
