LONGUEUIL – A fire has damaged a building of two houses of the rue Saint-Thomas, Longueuil, Saturday morning.
The fire broke out around 7 a.m. and has required the intervention of thirty firefighters. The arrival of these last, the three occupants were already out and out of danger.
“The fire was raging upon our arrival and it had spread to the roof,” said Sylvain Deschamps, chief of the division of fire safety Service of the agglomeration of Longueuil.
The fire, however, was mastered quickly by the fire department.
