Carrie Fisher died Tuesday, at the age of 60, four days after experiencing a discomfort in a flight between London and Los Angeles. Some media reports that she succumbed to a heart attack.
Dan Aykroyd, who was briefly engaged to the actress in 1980, called her “beautiful, brilliant, amusing, wise, kind and generous sister Blues” on Twitter.

William Shatner, who played Captain Kirk in Star Trek , also offered condolences on Twitter.
