CES 2017: Xiaomi unveils the Mi Mix white, for the Middle Kingdom

Xiaomi took advantage of the CES 2017 in Las Vegas to unveil its Mi Mix, with a screen of 6.4 inches, in white. A model that will not come out of the borders for the moment.

The group Xiaomi took advantage of Las Vegas salon to unveil a new version of the Mi Mix equipped with a 6.4 inch screen, this time in white. Baptized “Mi Mix White”, this model which will not however be proposed in Europe and will remain on Chinese soil.

A borderless smartphone by Philippe Starck, featuring a 6.4-inch borderless display with Full HD resolution displaying 1080 x 2040 pixels with a resolution of 362 pixels per inch. As for its technical characteristics, this new model “white” has a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 processor with four cores (2 x 2.35 GHz Kryo and 2 x 2.19 GHz Kryo), clocked at 2.35 GHz and An Adreno 530 graphics processor, supported by 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM LPDDR4 and an internal storage capacity of 128 GB. Its autonomy will be ensured by a non-removable battery of 4,400 mAh, compatible with the technology Quick Charge Quick Charge 3.0.

This smartphone is also equipped with an NFC chip, a Type-C USB port and Wi-Fi connectivity 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and compatibility with the 4G + / 4G / 3G and 2G. It has a dual SIM card slot and a fingerprint reader. Its screen covers 83.6% of the front panel. It evolves under Android 6.0 Marshmallow with an expected update to Android 7.0 Nougat.

On the photo side, there is an APN with a sensor of 16 million pixels in the back with auto-focus with phase detection and double LED flash, and a second sensor, in front of 5 megapixels, allowing self-portraits . At the video level, the Mi Mix White can record 2 160p at 30 fps, 1,080p at 30 fps and 720p at 120 fps. It has numerous sensors including a gyroscope, a barometer, a proximity sensor or an accelerometer. Its dimensions are 158.8 x 81.9 x 7.9 mm for a weight of 209 grams.
