A Ford F-150 Raptor unique and inspired by a fighter plane will be put to auction on the 27th of July, in the framework of the EAA Gathering of Eagles.
In fact, this year, Ford has partnered with this annual event to raise funds for the relief in the world of aviation.
For the occasion, the chief designer of Ford, Melvin Betancourt, and a team of engineers have modified a
Ford F-150 Raptor to make it absolutely unique. It has replaced the grille, the lights, the suspensions, the brakes, the wheel rims and the sound system.

Under the hood of the Raptor F-22, we added a cooling device of the air Whipple in order to improve the performance of the V6 Ecoboost bi-turbo.
In years past, Ford had also participated in the auction by providing, among others, Mustang custom. Up to now, more than 3 million dollars has been raised through this initiative.
This year, the choice of the Raptor, is not a matter of chance. This proposed amendment takes its inspiration from the Lockheed F-22 Raptor.
In recent years, the event was able to bring together well-known personalities such as Harrison Ford, John Travolta and Morgan Freeman.
