A cosplayer tied to his costume done by hand, has refused thirty offers of up to US $ 5,000 for his armor of seven feet, representing the main character in the video game Halo.

But honestly, it would have to offer me enough so that I could take a sabbatical year and I build another, ” says Francis, stating that the material does not cost him a few hundred dollars.
Making a living from his art
Francis Roy currently works in the construction. He hopes to become a rather well-known in the middle of the cosplay to eventually devote himself solely to his passion and be able to live.
“My goal would be to receive lots of orders for making costumes. I would like to become the best in what I do. It’s been only two years that I am here and I am passionate about “, lance-t-il, adding that he has learned everything by himself or through tutorials on YouTube.
In view of the Otakuthon anime convention next month, also at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, the cosplayer entrust to work on an armor of 10 feet, from the series japanese Gundam.
“At this point, I’m not doing this for the money. The real pay, it is to see the smiles of the children and of those who appreciate my work, ” says the one who travels with his outfit in the christmas holidays for children.
