A woman was killed on Tuesday in Saint-Raymond de Portneuf, after having been hit by a car on the road 365.

The fatal collision occurred around 17h. A woman driver aged in their twenties would be off the road before you mow down the pedestrian who was walking with his dog.

The victim was also aged in the twenties. His death was recorded in the hospital. She had no chance at the moment of impact. His pet was also killed in the crash.

The reconstitutionnistes of the Sûreté du Québec are on the scene since the beginning of the evening.

A distraction could be the cause of the tragedy. The police has not indicated whether it was a case of texting behind the wheel.

A few days ago, a cyclist was also killed on a stretch of route 365, in the county of Portneuf.
