An inmate escapes from a penitentiary in Laval

    A detained 52-year-old was serving a sentence of 32 months ‘ imprisonment for arson, escaped Thursday from a minimum-security institution in Laval.

    It is during the counting of the end of the evening, a little before 23 p.m., correctional officers discovered that Luc Paquette was missing.

    The correctional Service of Canada (CSC) immediately contacted the police in the surrounding area, as well as with the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), and a warrant of arrest was launched against him.
