MOSCOW | The Russian authorities have reached an agreement with syrian rebels at peace talks in Cairo on the security of the enclave of Ghouta in eastern Syria, announced on Saturday that the Russian ministry of Defence.
“Agreements were signed on the implementation of an area of +escalating+ in the enclave of the Ghouta east” in Syria, the ministry said in a press release.
These agreements are the result of discussions held in Cairo between Russian officials and moderate critics, said the ministry.
