The Montreal fire department have been very busy Sunday in the early evening, since three fires have been raging almost at the same time, in the west of the island, a situation that is rather rare.
The blaze broke out, the most significant of which occurred at Verdun on the street, Evelyn, close to the street Fund. Firefighters have been many to get there, because the three alarms have been triggered. A triplex has been heavily damaged.
In Lachine, a fire in an apartment building broke out on 17th Avenue. It is in the basement that the damage seemed to be the most important.
Finally, the third fire took place in a building in Pointe-Claire near lake Saint-Louis.
