VANCOUVER | A man from the Vancouver area has been sentenced to 40 months in prison, Monday, for having strangled a boy of 5 years, in addition to attempting to remove a girl of 8 years at two separate events.
Due to the time already spent behind bars, Nathaniel David Jessup has not, however, more than 254 days to spend in detention.
According to the “Vancouver Sun”, 28 year old male was initially made in the courtyard of a mansion in Surrey, in June 2015, where he had strangled a boy of five years, until to make him unconscious, before fleeing. The child was fortunately pulled without sequelae.
Then, in September 2016, the man had grabbed by the neck a young girl in a park in Vancouver and tried to save it with. The father of the child was, however, intervened to liberate his daughter and scare Jessup.
The last one had been arrested three days later, after having tried to approach a baby of two years.
Nathaniel Jessup was also found guilty of assaults on three correctional officers while he was in detention.
The man was on probation at the time of attack the children.
