SAINT-BRIGIDE-D’IBERVILLE | A fight between a motorist and his passenger ended with an accident front end on the highway 10, in Sainte-Brigide-d’iberville, Montérégie, Wednesday evening.
In all likelihood, the fight between the two occupants of the vehicle would have peaked, at which point the passenger demanded the driver as he landed on the edge of the highway, at kilometre 47, what he has willingly done. The man is then left again, before you turn back a few moments later, to engage in the traffic in the opposite direction, said Audrey-Anne Bilodeau, a spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
It is at this time that the driver is in a collision “at low speed” with a car, on the side of the highway. “The driver and the driver of the other car suffered minor injuries. They were transported in two hospital centres in the different”, stated the spokesperson.
For its part, the passenger landed at the edge of the motorway is pulled free.
The right lane on highway 10 had to be closed part of the evening because of this incident.
Investigators must meet the man, who could potentially face a charge of dangerous driving.
