If there’s one thing I’ve learned playing Mario Kart, it is that the peels of bananas are slippery. Very slippery.
Just a small peel poorly placed for my trusty Yoshi starts to make head-to-tail. Trauma insured.
But what is it in real life? Is this a road littered with peelings of banana can have a negative incident on the road behavior of a vehicle? Subaru Canada has had the bright idea to do the test.
In British Columbia, we have covered a stretch of road of peels of banana and has tried to go from 0 to 100 km/h with a WRX 2018.
On the strength of a wheel to the full and a turbocharged 268 horsepower, the WRX was able to reach 100 km/h in six seconds and one-tenth on this floor both wet and full of bananas used. It is a tiny difference with this is that the vehicle manages to make a road regular.

In short, the next time you play Mario Kart, take it all with a grain of salt.
Here it is. Mystery elucidated. In the end, only one question remains. Who ate all those bananas?
