Transport Canada has recently issued a reminder to get serious about the Dodge Challenger and Load Hellcat 2017.

In fact, a defect related to the operation of the oil cooler can cause a loss of engine oil. If he had just run out of oil, the engine may, of course, will cause severe damage. Inevitably, this potential oil leak increases the risk of fire.

On certain vehicles equipped with engine Hellcat, the driving of the engine oil cooler could detach at the crimp between the hose and the aluminum tube and cause a rapid loss of engine oil. The oil could squirt on the windscreen and impair visibility, the loss of oil could cause seizure of the engine and, in the presence of a source of ignition, an oil leak may increase the risk of fire. These problems could increase the risk of accidents that may cause bodily injury or property damage (or both). Corrective action : dealers will replace the pipes of the engine oil cooler.
