MONTREAL – A man 31 years of age has been reached and fatally wounded by a projectile from a firearm, on Tuesday evening, on the avenue Lausanne in the borough of Montréal-Nord.
Several calls were made to 9-1-1 at around 22: 15 pm about gunshots heard in an apartment building on the avenue Lausanne near Fleury street, said Manuel Couture, spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
A vehicle would have stopped in front of it and several people would be outputs. The suspects entered the interior of the building to meet the victim and it is at this time that the shots were heard. A projectile has reached and fatally wounded the victim. His death was recorded on the spot.
The suspects fled along the avenue Lausanne in the south direction in a vehicle described as dark.
No arrest has been made while the investigators of the major crimes that the POLICE are on-site to elucidate the homicide.
