SAINT-AMABLE | Two vehicles have been torched during the night of Tuesday to Wednesday in Saint-Amable, in Montérégie, and there is every reason to believe that it is an arson.
It is a little after midnight that the fire department of the fire Service of the municipality of Saint-Amable have been called on the street of the Button of Gold with two parked vehicles in a parking lot of a residence were in flames.
“Upon arriving on scene, firefighters noticed to say that it is a fire suspicious,” said sergeant Pierre Tremblay of the Régie intermunicipale de police Richelieu-Saint-Laurent (RSL).
In addition to the vehicles charred, the fire has caused damage to the siding of the house.
The investigators of the police Richelieu-Saint-Laurent were seeking a potential suspect.
