Garbine Muguruza crosses without penalty the first round at Flushing Meadows

Garbine Muguruza has easily reached the second round of the International of the United States.

The French Alizé Cornet defeated Britain’s Heather Watson 6-4, 6-4, the Czech Kristyna Pliskova has won 6-2, 6-2 against Japan’s Misa Eguchi and American Sachia Vickery won 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 against the Russian Natalia Vikhlyantseva.
