Geneviève Guilbault, who was known as a spokesman for the coroner’s Office, will bear the colors of the Coalition avenir Québec in the national assembly during the next general elections, confirmed François Legault.
The chief caquiste today continues his tour of announcements of nominations for the election of 1 October 2018.
As noised in the media last week, Ms. Guilbault will attempt to dislodge the liberal François Blais, who is currently the minister responsible for the Capitale-Nationale region.
“It is a great day for me and the coming year promises to be historic for Quebec,” said Ms. Guilbault.
The new venue policy was particularly noted in his role of director of communications at the tragedy of L’isle-Verte and Lac-Mégantic. It remains, however, still little known to the general public.
She has also previously worked as a press attaché assistant of Jacques Dupuis, at the time when he was the minister of public Safety.
Portneuf and Lotbinière-Frontenac
Mr. Legault will be this afternoon in Portneuf, to announce another nomination. According to the blogger of the Newspaper and ex-member of parliament caquiste Sylvain Lévesque, this is Vincent Caron, who was until last April, president of the liberal association of the county of Portneuf.
Dissatisfied with the positions of his party on integration and immigration, Mr. Caron has previously worked for the liberal mp Michel Matte, it will probably face during the next general election.
Tomorrow, Mr. Legault will be in Saint-Janvier-de-Joly, to reveal the name of the one who will attempt to unseat the liberal Laurent Lessard in Lotbinière-Frontenac.
Our parliamentary Bureau has learned that it is Isabelle Lecours, president of the action committee on local caquiste of the county.
