The police department of the City of Dubai definitely has the fleet of vehicles, the most spectacular of the planet.
And for Ferrari, McLaren and Lamborghini has now been added to a vehicle even more spectacular: a flying motorcycle!
Called Scorpion Hoverbike, the moto is in fact a big drone on which a driver can sit. Able to fly, thanks to its four propellers, the Scorpion can reach a height of 5 meters and a speed of 70 km/h. according To Autoblog, the futuristic motorcycle that can carry 660 pounds, which is good enough for a driver and his equipment.
Magical, isn’t it? However, this new police vehicle has to deal with a battery life of rather restricted. After only 25 minutes of use, the Scorpion has to go back to the garage to be recharged. We forget the long trips to the top of the magnificent dunes of the united arab Emirates…
The service of Dubai police believes that the Scorpion is an interesting addition to its fleet of vehicles. The motorcycle could for example be useful when, in emergency situations, police officers need to get to a place difficult to access by car.
And, let’s face it, this is another good opportunity to talk about Dubai and its excess!
