Four alleged victims of a businessman Gilbert Rozon came forward on Thursday with the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
They will be encountered in the next few days according to their schedule.
No official investigation is for the moment open about.
It must be remembered that Gilbert Rozon is the subject of an investigation following the filing of a complaint in relation to a sexual assault that would have occurred in Paris in 1994.
Nine women have also told The daily le Devoir, and 98.5 FM have been sexually assaulted by the businessman over a period of years 1980 to 2016.
Thirty denunciations by the SPVM
Furthermore, the SPVM has received at least 30 calls in the day on Thursday for accusations of sexual assault.
The police service has opened a telephone line that allows victims to communicate with an investigator from the sexual assault Section at (514) 280-2079. This telephone line temporary is in service from 7 h to 22 h, from Monday to Friday.
“All complaints”
In a memo sent to his agents, the director of the SPVM, Philip Pitcher, recalled the importance of treating “all the complaints”.
