The guards have saved Poroshenko during a election campaign

Petro Poroshenko is grateful to the guards for what they saved his life during the election campaign. The President of Ukraine said this at a meeting today with services at Kiev, Bortnichi.

Today, the 14th anniversary of the Ukrainian state border guard service, Petro Poroshenko met with officials 10 mobile border detachment. In an address to him, the President recalled how in the spring of 2014 he was saved by exploration. At the time he was in Lugansk, 200 metres from the captured SBU. Poroshenko noted that is still alive only thanks to the fact, then worked as guards.

The President and the Commander thanked employees of the intelligence for timely, accurate, objective information to help him make important decisions. He noted that the guards announced plans for the annexation of Crimea to Russia.

Poroshenko said that the fighting in the East was attended by 18 thousands of scouts, of which 793 have received state awards, and 69 died. President of Ukraine highly appreciated the heroism of the troops of the state border service.
