In Moscow, suppressed the activity of organized crime groups involved in smuggling cocaine

Activity of an organized criminal group, which for a long time been engaged in smuggling on the territory of Russia of cocaine was foiled by the police in Moscow. Acting head of public relations Department of the MIA in the capital Yuri Titov confirmed this information.

“As a result of operative-investigative activities conducted in relation to the activities of this organized criminal group, was able to establish that they had organized a channel for the smuggling of drugs from foreign countries. In the suburbs they distributed it throughout the territory of Russia for the purpose of sale, “- said Titov.

Titov says that the police previously received message associated with the autopsy of the dead alien, whose body was found eight plastic containers with a substance of unknown origin. In the course of further examination failed to establish that the discovered substance is cocaine, weighing about 80 grams.

The police were able to establish that the man arrived in Moscow relatively recently, along with his brother and acted as a drug courier. As a result, managed to detain the four suspects.
