A man from Granby must regret his hungry night after he was arrested in a drunken state at the drive thru of a Mcdonald’s, in the night from Thursday to Friday.

Upon arrival at the restaurant to 3h25, the motorist, 22-year-old has attracted the attention of the customers due to “its questionable behaviour”, and several have contacted the police, said Guy Gravelle, a spokesperson for the police of Granby.

Upon their arrival on scene, officers quickly identified the driver drunk. They made her pass a breathalyzer test, which he failed.

    Double

Once brought to the police station, the results of the examinations have shown that it was more than double the limit allowed by the criminal Code.

He was released on a promise to appear on January 25, but the consequences do not stop there.

His vehicle was seized for 30 days and his licence was suspended for 90 days.

“We thank the people who have decided to call to report their concern. It encourages citizens to do the slightest doubt”, emphasises Guy Rousseau, while you soak in the period of “office parties”.

The story does not, however, if the driver was able to enjoy his meal at the end of the evening.
