THREE-RIVERS | hundreds of citizens and business leaders have been affected by the death of little Thomas Livernoche and have attempted to provide assistance to bereaved parents.
At the end of the day Wednesday, relatives of the victim age of 3 years had raised more than $ 16,000 in donations in two days for the funeral of the child.
The parents had not yet subscribed to a life insurance for their son. They are not rich. Gaëtan Massicotte is working in a restaurant at minimum wage and Johannie Livernoche is currently enrolled.
Donations of more than 500 people have helped raise a significant amount of money, via the internet site of sociofinancement GoFundMe.

A caterer in Trois-Rivières has also offered to serve food free of charge after the ceremony.
A funeral home is also ready to keep the funeral free of charge, while another offers to do so at a lower cost.
In the event that the funeral cost less than the money received, the donations will go to pay for a new apartment equipped to the parents.
Keven Diamond would like the rent to be paid for a year.
“I’m not sure that they will be able to work immediately. One wants to limit the hassle for a year, and a rent already paid, that can help, ” he says.
The parents were still in shock Wednesday, and were not in a state to react to this impetus of solidarity, according to relatives.
