When the previous generation of the Jeep Cherokee was introduced in 2013, the response was almost unanimous : not many people found it beautiful. Especially from the front.

At the motor Show in Detroit, Jeep has unveiled its new version of the Cherokee. And it is not a lot less ugly. In its list of the highlights of the new Cherokee, Jeep has placed the grille in the front row. He really had to change. Don’t worry, the seven slots distinctive, fortunately, remained.

The catalogue adds to 2019 an engine four-cylinder 2.0 L turbocharged. It generates 270 horsepower and 295 pounds-foot.

As for the four-cylinder 2.4 L Tigershark (180 horsepower and 170 lb-ft) and the V6 3.2 L Pentatar (271 horsepower and 239 pound-feet), the two remain available. We are left therefore with a choice of three powertrains.
