TORONTO – A 66-year old man has been arrested in Toronto where the police suspect to be a serial killer that was targeting the homosexual community.
Bruce McArthur would be linked to the disappearance of two men living in the gay district of the Queen City, reported Global News. He now faces two charges of first-degree murder related to the disappearance of Andrew Kinsman and Selim Esen, two men in their forties who were active on applications of meetings. According to the authorities, McArthur would have frequented during a certain time Andrew Kinsman.
The two victims had been reported missing last summer, a month and a half apart.
The Toronto police, which has conducted an investigation of several months into the case, said Thursday that the accused could be linked to the death of other men.
“We have evidence that leads us to believe that there are other victims, but we are not in a position to identify these victims based on the evidence we have. It is a work in progress,” said the sergeant Hank Idsinga of Toronto police.
