MONTREAL – The work on the Turcot interchange in Montreal will once again be at the heart of the barriers in the road of this end of the week. Motorists will have to be patient.
The autoroute 20 and autoroute 720 will be completely closed to traffic in the direction west, Friday, 23: 59 p.m. until Monday at 5 p.m. between exit 5 in the Ville-Marie tunnel and the temporary entrance from the boulevard de Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue (junction Montreal-West).
The entrance of the rue Saint-Antoine ouest, at the height of the rue Rose-de-Lima, will be closed from 22 p.m., Friday. A detour will be possible by continuing on the rue Saint-Antoine, Saint-Jacques street, Atwater avenue and highway 15 north. Same story for the common entrance of the rue Saint-Antoine, Sanguinet and the avenue of the Hotel-de-Ville, which will be closed from 23: 30.
As a result, the shoulder straps for highway 15 south (Décarie) to highway 720 and highway 20 east (the Remembrance) will be closed, Friday, 23: 59 to Monday, 5 h. With the closure of these two straps, the 720 (east and west) will be completely closed to traffic between the tunnel Ville-Marie, and the Turcot interchange.
By contrast, entries from streets Notre-Dame and the Cathedral for the City tunnel will remain open. The access ramp to highway 15 north to highway 20 west will also be closed at the same time. Just as the straps of highway 15 south (Décarie), 720 ouest (Ville-Marie) and highway 20 east (from Memory).
It is to be noted that highway 20 is (from Memory) between the output 64 and the input of the boulevard Angrignon will be closed from Friday, 23 pm to Saturday 8 pm, Saturday, 23 pm to Sunday 10 pm and Sunday 23 p.m. to Monday, 5 h.
