The Corolla has always had the label of the reliable auto. And it was deserved. But it also has the reputation of being flat. Beige as an accountant.

Attention. I won’t tell you that it is exciting. Or that it is intoxicating. For a similar price, the Honda Civic LX turbo hatchback provides the driving even more exhilarating. What I advance is that the Corolla is not as flat as its reputation suggests.
Last year, I tried another Corolla. It was fitted with an automatic continuously variable transmission (CVT). I must confess to you that the transmission plays a lot in the pleasure – or discomfort – of conduct. The manual has nothing of sports. Its travel is long, and its clutch is everything except biting, but it is far more efficient than a CVT, which roars at the slightest acceleration.
I don’t have that flowers for the compact sedan from Toyota. Its infotainment system is far from optimal. The sensitivity of the screen is not the one in your cell phone and you may lose patience on occasion. Speaking of your cell, as in other products of the Toyota brand, you will not have the ability to connect to access Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. This is another irritant.

Unlike some vehicles, the Corolla doesn’t pretend to be what she is not. It serves both the young students and retirees. But one thing is certain, she is not sporty. Of course, on board, we do not find the Recaro seats. However, I found the bucket seats very comfortable. I noticed an excellent lateral support as much from the seat that folder.
I have greatly appreciated the efficiency of the heating system and heated seats. In the winter, this is a must. I did not stay frozen very long in embarking in the Corolla. I can’t say the same for some of the vehicles include the Subaru Forester in the passage, yet designed to hold their own in the game in the winter.
Despite that it is less beige than it was, the Corolla has not lost one of its key strengths: reliability. In fact, year after year, it remains a benchmark in this niche.
In short, hat, Corolla. Continue your good work!
