Today it became known about what happened on December 19 in the US incident. In Louisiana there was a thunderstorm, when the B-52 was landing, it was struck by lightning. The blow was such force that the impact mechanisms and the rod of the air ship went down. After landing, the team discovered that the tail of the bomber formed a huge hole in it the size in human growth. For help, the crew appealed to the local air force base. Eric Allison, one of the mechanics admitted that this is the first such incident in 15 years that he was working with the bombers.
