It’s been several months, or even years, that Toyota makes us languish with the new Supra. The information was released in dribs and drabs. We are promised an unveiling at the motor Show in Geneva which will be held in march next year.
But then, Toyota has just cut the grass under the feet. In fact, in the first page of the magazine Japan’s Best Because you can see pictures of the Supra of the fifth generation.

Without surprise, it is basically the Toyota FT-1 Concept that was presented a few years ago already. The more observant will notice that the muzzle has been redesigned.
Result of a partnership between BMW and Toyota that the Supra shares many of its components with the Z4 next generation.

Under the hood, we would find a six-cylinder in-line 3.0-turbocharged engine which develops 335 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. The power would be routed to the rear wheels through an automatic transmission with eight reports.
To complete the 0-100 km/h, it would take only 3.8 seconds.
The magazine also reveals the dimensions of the car : length (4380 mm) width (1855 mm), height (1290 mm) and wheelbase (2470 mm).
