    Sophie Mauzerolle, councillor of city of the district of Sainte-Marie, was accompanied by her baby on the Montreal city Council Wednesday morning.

    The mayor Valérie Plante has shared a photo of the rare event on his page Facebook. “Welcome to little Victor! There is nothing better to calm the spirits in the municipal council that the presence of a baby. Congratulations to our colleague Sophie Mauzerolle “, wrote the leader of projet Montréal.

    Sophie Mauzerolle, also of projet Montréal, has given birth to the little Victor a few weeks ago.

    The photos are reminiscent of those of senator australian Larissa Waters, gone viral, where we see her breastfeed her baby during a motion of the Parliament.

    The initiative of Mrs Mauzerolle seems to have been very well received by many of the other advisors.
