MONTREAL – A collision between a bicycle and a car occurred on the night of Friday to Saturday, shortly before 4 p.m. at the corner of Berri and Saint-Antoine.
The cyclist, a 26 year old male, who was travelling south on Berri street, failed to stop at a red light while crossing the rue Saint-Antoine.
The motorist, a 25-year old woman, could not avoid the collision.
Thrown to the ground, the cyclist has been seriously injured in the head and upper body. He was transported to a hospital, his life would not be in danger.
The driver was not injured. When questioned by the police, his version of events corroborates those given by various witnesses on the spot.
