A day with the Galaxy Book, Samsung’s new ultrabook!

OMG, I became a VIP at Samsung. I will test the Galaxy Book of 12 “This device which wants to both PC and tablet is the successor of the Galaxy Tab Pro S of 2016. Here are my first impressions!

The Samsung Galaxy Book wants to combine the smallness and portability of a tablet with the characteristics of a laptop. The Korean giant offers us a high quality device that aspires to revolutionize the field of tablet PCs. On paper, this 2-in-1 under Windows 10 that is equipped with the latest generation Intel processors has to quo rival the iPad Pro. Hardly unpacked, the Galaxy Book gave me as many chills as a surprise album of the rapper Niro. Thanks to the flexibility of its design, the Galaxy Book can be transformed into a real laptop or tablet. Like the iPad Pro, a connector allows to connect the screen to the keyboard.

Comes with a protective case that can be used as a stand to adjust the viewing angle of the screen. But ergonomic level, this is as convenient as a two-in-one equipped with a crutch. Adjustable only in 4 positions, this tilt still meets most of our needs of use. But if you want to use your Galaxy Book by placing it on your lap, the lack of rigidity of the device is not going to make you happy. And if the keyboard is even more beautiful than the Smart Keyboard of the iPad Pro, it also has its weak points. Unlike the Surface Pro, this keyboard is not high towards the screen. It’s a shame as this could have ensured that the comfort of striking tutoie excellence.

As soon as I detached my Galaxy Book from his keyboard, I was amazed by the switch to “tablet mode”. The Windows desktop disappears as if by magic and the icons on the Start menu are placed in the shortcut bar. From then on, I was able to play like a madman with the touch screen of the Galaxy Book. But if you want to do photo editing or draw, you’ll be amazed by Samsung’s small two-in-one stylus that stands out as a must.

The first thing I really wanted to do when I discovered the 12 “screen of the Galaxy Book is to use it as a video player to watch, for example, series in bed. ‘We look at Game of Thrones in VOD or a football game, the result is beyond all our expectations.With Super AMOLED, the colors are mind-blowing and the screen adapts to most lighting conditions.
