A driver 19 years old hit a tree: alcohol would be involved

    SAINTE-JULIENNE | a driver of A 19-year-old was injured when his vehicle crashed into a tree, Saturday morning, Sainte-Julienne, in the MRC of Montcalm, in the Lanaudière region.

    The accident occurred at about 4: 30 a.m., at the intersection of the 4th row and the street of the Larches. The young man, who was the sole occupant of his vehicle, went off the road crashing against the tree. He had to be hospitalized.
    According to Louis-Philippe Bibeau, of the Sûreté du Québec, the alcohol could be a factor in this accident.
    “He was arrested for impaired driving and there has been a request for a blood sample,” he said.
    The driver is a native of Sainte-Julienne.
