A flight attendant of Emirates kills himself by falling out of a plane in Uganda

    KAMPALA, Uganda | hostess of the Emirates is dead after falling from an emergency exit of an airplane parked on the airport in Entebbe, said the spokesman at a hospital in the ugandan capital.

    Francis Sekandi, the hospital in Kisubi where the victim has been admitted after his fall on Wednesday, confirmed his death Thursday evening.

    The civil aviation Authority of uganda said in a statement that an investigation had been opened after that, “a woman crew member had apparently opened the door of the emergency exit and was unfortunately that fell out of an Emirates aircraft that had landed without a problem and was parked” in Entebbe.

    Emirates has indicated to his side that a “member of our cabin crew had unfortunately made a fall from an open door during the preparations of the aircraft for boarding. The company has promised in a press release, to cooperate fully in the investigation with the authorities.

    A witness working at the airport, Isaac Seremba, has estimated that the fall could be a “suicide” while a local daily newspaper, The Daily Monitor, also referred to a gesture intentional, citing unidentified sources.
