A law firm launches a virtual assistant to help future immigrants

    MONTREAL – The law firm montreal EXEO, specialized in immigration and international mobility, has launched a virtual assistant to free and powered by the artificial intelligence to help the people who immigrate to Canada.

    The virtual assistant called IVA (Immigration Virtual Assistant), is the new guide for the early stages of immigration.

    By launching IVA, the firm EXEO wished to democratize the access to this information, in addition to speed up and facilitate the process of search and processing of immigration applications.

    “The immigration process is tedious and differs according to each country of origin. We wanted to put our expertise at the service of people wishing to settle, work or study in Canada, by offering a solution that can facilitate the first steps of their transactions”, explains Marc-André Séguin, co-founder of IVA.

    Available on the app Facebook Messenger, the tool is used to answer a variety of questions grouped in more than 25 categories of immigration programs and permanent and temporary. The content is followed by lawyers and researchers who follow the changes in the canadian regulations.

    This initiative, genuine innovation in the field of artificial intelligence, is the result of over 1000 hours of research and programming, and the work of a team comprising of lawyers, researchers, writers, programmers, graphic designers, specialists in artificial intelligence and web designers.

    The tool is currently available only in English. The French version will be available as early as 8 August. Other languages will be added over the next few months.
